Hi, I’m Clarke!
I’m a design lead who is interested in problem spaces around enduring human needs like education, health, climate change, and the emerging uses of AI/ML for enhancing human work. I work best on collaborative teams that appreciate initiative, resourcefulness, and collaboration.
Right now, I lead the design team at AcuityMD, which helps medtech device companies figure out how to get their new medical devices into healthcare practitioners’ hands faster to improve patient outcomes. I’ve designed for voice, recommendations/next best actions, automated workflows, AI agents, and AI-enhanced inputs for better usability. I’ve also used the rising tide of AI to help my entire team get more out of AI for research, synthesis, iteration and ideation, and prototyping, while using spec-based development to contribute directly to our product.
At One Medical I gave back time to doctors to focus on patients through ML-enhanced workflows for medical workers and office staff, streamlining work in and around our EHR. Also co-designed a new schedule experience to accommodate new automations saving hours per admin per week.
I’ve also helped find a good dentist for their families, as well as helped patients understand the complications of insurance generally as well as their current benefits.
